Some aspects of CF can't be fully expressed realistically. It's just not possible, or it's very difficult to do. One example of this is the size of armors. Would a Gnome be able to wear the same greenish-brown shirt as a giant? No, but what else can they do. Make all equipment race limited? Hell no there isn't enough. Minute aspects of making the game more realistic such as with the shields and armor just takes too much for too little. Like a lot of little things that would be nice if they were coded there just isn't enough time.
