I'd love to see cabal leaders in general have tougher standards, especially on roleplaying. Getting into a cabal -should- be a challenge, and not something you just pick for yourself. I'd rather see newer players who put a ton of effort get in, then the more experienced ones who treat cabal interviews like formalities, and have rolled up the same characrer umpteen times.

If they aren't up to your personal standard, say so. Ask the other members of your cabal what they see in the applicant. It'll be better for the cabal in the long run.
