Sword specs are pretty much the no-brainer spec for warriors.

You tank really well, get automatic hits from riposte, and flurry is good damage if a little risky with the lag it has.

Spear is a great tanking spec with a little diversity in that you can cause bloodloss and can do some nice lagging/slowing down opponents things like Misdirect and leverage , although leverage is not that great.
Its main disadvantage is that one Koptagaeshi and your toast, no wield unless you have a 2nd spec of h2h or whips to choke that assassin your gonna have to run.

I loved spear as a felar but if your new or want an easy run, go Sword.
