Normally, Abernyte is pretty calm and cool-headed, and would realize that Goluk is pretty much obviously in the wrong. So I found it odd that PB's pretty ordinary post got this response from him. Then I got to thinking. I re-read Goluk's original post. Scotsman-sounding to a large degree (shite=shit). Abernyte and Graham are friends IRL (as they've stated before). I don't see Abernyte posting something as rabidly harsh as Goluk's post, so I'm lead to the following conclusion: Goluk=Graham If this is, in fact, true, then I find it to be a sad commentary on Graham's basic emotional state. Clearly, far too engrossed in the game. Playing as a "newbie" (Goluk's word), I doubt anything was lost that was truly worth bitching about, since a newbie is sub-11th level and thereby cannot hold limited equipment. Looking over the post again, I don't see any of the other tell-tale scotsman-post signs, so I could be wrong. I actually thought it sounded like Graham to begin with, but blew it off as someone else who uses the word shite and has a bad temper...but then when Abernyte lept to his defense so...ridiculously, I had second thoughts. I may be wrong. Further evidence, though: Abernyte and Graham are famous for complaining about their link, due to being in a different country. Goluk blames his problem on losing link for 15 minutes (which sucks, no bones about it). The whole point here is: Graham is hardly a newbie. If this is indeed you, Graham, posting as Goluk...get a grip. You've been playing longer than most people who post here, I gather, and you hadn't taken the time to see that it was urns. I, myself, didn't know it was urns, either. I might have gotten screwed over in the same way, someday. But, as I have played CF for more than a week, I wouldn't have come to this forum and started spouting. Three words for you, Goluk (or Graham, if that truly is who you are): Prozac, maybe Ridalin.
