From what Ive heard, the "correct" way to go about it is to try and do it in game. Rumour has it that often you need 10-15 supporters for a new cabal etc....
Im guessing they need to actively play etc.
Knights could probably encompass the Ehren guard and maran, so if you try, you could possibly get the numbers.

Not that I know jack shit mind you... thats just what Ive heard and Nepenthe is likely to point out the problems with information from sources that dont know what they are on about :P
