I leave it on because I have a slow connection and all of that text lags me. (My isp is a POS...) But when I'm exploring or trying to figure a quest out or something or just bored I turn it off so I can read the deliciously colorful descriptions of the necromantic rooms of Thera :P

(yes, I'm bored... really bored)
