At this point, ressurecting an old cabal is in many ways more difficult than creating a new one; there are certainly better ideas that could be used in creating a Good-aligned Cabal to fill the void Knights left. One important thing to consider is *why* Knights are gone. Perhaps the events surrounding one mortal leader were the straw that broke the camel's back in regard to abolishing the Knights as they stood at the time, but it is important to realize that there were several Immortals who weren't fond of the idea of the Knights in general. In some ways, you could liken it to an old area that was slated to be replaced; yes, it had some merit adn was good in its time, but the depth/complexity/merit of the Cabal was no longer sufficient to survive. And this, of course, has been demonstrated by the creation of the Dawn. The Knights, previously, had attracted essentially two sorts of players: the new ones who wanted something they thought they could roleplay, and the experienced ones who wanted to, simply, beat down the evil oppressors. Dawn has fulfilled the first role, and the Maran are about as a following of Shokai to provide the second facet of that. If the two aspects that the Knights had are available elsewhere, why do you really need the Knights anymore? I personally played, and enjoyed, a handful of Knights. But there is nothing that they offered which cannot be found elsewhere. There's really no purpose to bringing them back. -Neilon
