If you're not a master, you train HP. Period. I'll be brief as to why:

1) +mana gear grows on trees
2) Near hero, you barely even need any +mana gear, let alone trained mana, to get the best servitors.
3) Other than conjuring, conjurers hardly ever use mana. HP, on the other hand, you use all the time.
4) Having an extra 100 mana will never save your life. Having an extra 100 HP will.

If you are a Master, you have a decision to make. If the Tower is strong and you expect to always have the Orb (and thus transform), then train mana. If you expect to be spending a lot of time without the Orb, train HP. If you fall somewhere in the middle, train a mix of both.

But no non-Master conjurer should ever train mana. Period.
