Approximately how many hours have you put into CF total, with

...I'll let you do the math but I have been playing CF for about 5 years. I first started when clerics where split into the 3 groups we have now. I would say that I spend about 2-6 hours a day 4 days a week. I have probably had about 2 months where I did not play at all.

...The closest I have played to this is Diablo 2. It was fun, but it was all the same. Untill everyone is able to make there own unique character that looks singularly unique I don't think I would replace CF with it.

...Yes and no, there will not be many new one's starting up, because I find that in order to become involved with a mud at all these days you need a guide. It can be quite confusing when first entering CF. If muds wish to continue to compete, they need to make a much much simpler version for new people to get the hang of the way the mud works before jumping in head first into it. Otherwise the mud will have zero population growth and eventually die out.

... 5 years yes, 20 years no (I will still be gaming then but I don't think the mud will survive that long.)

...I would spend a majority of my time here. Infact hardware is not an issue for me, but I would rather be here than there.

...The only time I forced myself to quit was for someone I cared about a great deal, and when the issue was resolved I came back. My wife certainly feels that my gaming is an addiction, I don't think she thinks of the mud specifically but computer gaming in general is.

...I have played at work, and gotten in trouble. I quit doing it and thus solved that problem. As for a career, no I do this for fun, work, is work.
