If you are a healer and you are looking to kill something or someone then you need have a good amount damage gear and a pretty powerful weapon and then you can simply match the damage of a half way eq'd class that is geared toward damage. If you want to keep someone in battle, the only option you have is to use a whip since you get lash. The only offensive communes you will get is turn undead... not a good idea to cast that with Havilahd's army of storm giant zombies.. did that once, faerie fire and curse. Other than that, healers are not meant to be an offensive class. They are good to have fun with, explore.
> I want to roll a Storm Healer. Given up the whole Maran thing due to lack of response on my last question (which I took to mean it was a bad idea) I'm looking through all the skills and communes of a healer and I don't see anything in the area of offense. They have an assload of protective ablilities so I could take a lot of damage but I see no way to actually inflict damage other than the primary weapon (mace, flail, staff). Yes I know, I'm a healer, I'm supposed to HEAL, but for the purpose of defense and ranking can any healers out there give me some insight on how you guy survive. Or are some the communes offensive and I just missed it? Thanks
