I figured being a healer would be nice because there would be a minimal chance of death. And there was. I died to PK once at rank 12 before I got fly so I was triped to death..but after that never again until Hero. As a healer, I have to say that they really are a very powerful class. While you can't expect to kill someone in 10 rounds, you will defenatly be able to kill someone with some time. Assassins kept trying to assassinate me in the higher ranks, and when they would fail, I would flee right away, put up blade barrier, and then when they attack and get ==OBLIT'd I'd start kicking. Kick for me as a dwarf healer did MASSACARE's often, MANLGES sometimes, and on occation a ***DEV. You have shield block and parry, and you really don't get hit that often with those perfected, with all your sups up as well, it doesn't really matter anyway. After your health goes down 100 hp at lower levels, or 200 at higher, just heal or rejuve yourself, and resume kicking. curse people if they can word or think they might, faerie fire assassins and thieves, and just wittle them down. You can last far longer against their wounds and injures while you are healing yourself than they can against your kicks and hits from your weapon. If they flee, you can just keep following and attacking. If they get too far, gate to them. I found my healer to be one of the most effecient killers out of most of my characters. I don't think I ever actually got a PK, but I honestly wasn't going for PK with this char. But I let many people flee from me convulsing, with out persuing. The only times I died were when: A) Riaoz got his holds off on me and Devlel would be attacking me..I can't really heal myself while I'm held.. B) Violanda would get her world bind off.. C) Havilhad's ghoul would hold me...*mutter* Also, its harder to survive as a healer at lower ranks, because it is extreemly hard to keep all your protections up all the time. But thats not too bad. I don't really know what else to say..healers are a great class, one of the most fun I've played..I think I'll be making another one soon. -TSM
Oh, and for bob, havilhad was chasing me around and I was turning and fleeing, turning and fleeing against his zombies and I would UNSPEAK them..if I didn't get held..I don't think I would have lost. But hey..thats me.
