I have spent a few seconds (*gasp*) thinking wether I should explain what OSs are or not, and the conclusion is that I won't (partly because after _my_ explanation, you'll be even more confused, and partly because not being able to install mIRC says a lot about you). So just pick your answer from the list below:
Windows 3- [ :))) ]
Windows 3.0
Windows 3.1
Windows 95
Windows 95 with Internet Explorer
Windows 95 with Eastern Language Support (yep, had that one once)
Windows 95 with Netscape Communicator
Windows 95 ... [and it goes on :) ]
Windows 98 [are there so many choices for this one?]
Windows NT [bah, just say if you have a version of this, I'm getting bored]
Unix [CONGRATULATIONS! You are the winner of a trip to Hawaii!!]
Linux [whatever distrib]
Mac/Os [*'s body shakes from the sobbing, _so_ hard is he crying*]
Solaris [dunno]

Now, only if you have one of the choices 4 - 9, and maybe 10, I dunno, you'll be able to install mIRC. For the rest, go to altavista and do a search for IRC+[yourOSgoeshere].

You may say that I'm a dreamer,
But I'm not the only one.

*smile* This one's referring to #7

Cheers,

PS. Ek, don't ever, but EVER put personal information in ANY program. Just bull, but make it believable... you'll thank me someday for that [*mutter: when I'll get into your computer* *gasps as he understands he was heard* *whistles innocently while spotting some birds... making love*]
