both pincer and cranial lag - Im not sure which one more often. Boneshatter by itself is enough often to win fights while weapon breaker is very cool, its easier for people to rearm themselves from it.

look at the skills which ones are better for you? The strength thing is a bit of a major, but at least with maces most of the specs only need one mace, so you could use a shield too.

I once tried a polearm dwarf... good grief what a sad bastard that was, even with near perfect skills he tanked like a rock (a soggy tomato that has had "hold tomato" cast on him)
