axe/mace - they are fairly similar, boneshatter rocks. weaponbreaker aint too shabby - either one is a good option.

Id go hth second. (maybe whip)
I would not go with either whip or hth as your first spec.

I played a dwarf polearm - not a rager.. he sucked big time. Couldnt tank very well at all.
