If you want to be that friggin anal about it, if you are wearing plate and you get hit with a huge sword, mace, or the like, have them take extra damage since that was the purpose of the weapons. Too crush the armor which I wouldn't imagine felt to damned good. If you wanted to keep going, flails(if memory serves)were made to get around shields and such. You are taking this shit way too far. If you aren't happy with getting your ass handed to you by a spec'ed warrior, try playing it and finding it's weakness. Maybe you have played every combination of race/spec/secondary spec, but from your post it doesn't sound like it.
