Overall, a wickedly powerful class. Pisses the hell out: Mildly bad: Lightly bad: A comment: Lightly nice: Mildly nice: Goddamn nice:
It doesn't requires a genius to play one, just lots of patience and attention, but do requires a skilled player or a group with one conjie to defeat another.
You can put up 1250 mana into a spell and see a fish bait coming from it (charisma 23), and you will wonder what to do with all the time you lost preparing yourself with eq/pills/heal mana/etc, plus 52 hours to conjure another and usually an impatient group snarling at you (and the group is usually the most important aspect of it, you can try to conjure as many times you want and have time for, your group won't wait a tenth of that).
Suggestion: may get a servitor as powerful as the amount of mana suggests, with chance of being a rank lower, no extended stay.
Without orderly mind or magical control, it takes too damn long to get ready. See above, and even when you're successful, you also have been successful in pissing off your group and yourself. Might be funny thinking of it now, but I was usually regarded as the ever-sleeping person before 40's... and half-day sleeper after that.
Suggestion: bind becomes a mana-free skill as in talking the mob to aid you.
Kinda hard to figure out how to defeat a conjie if you don't have dismissal.
Suggestion: Immortal FAQ About Conjurers released to normal players?
Not even a hint of when a non-elemental will leave?
No useless spells, all are nifty even at hero.
Suggestion: three different magical missile spells for one, two and three missiles, a bind spell for each type of elemental, rank of angel/demon/archon/devil (i.e. bindradiantangel, bindtransplendantarchon, etc.)
Archons won't let you down, unless they do.
Fully prepared and sanc'ed beforehand, can face almost anything, alone! (Be sure not to let bless fall during combat)
Now, completely apart, does anyone knows if the imp does anything else than curse? (if it does curse, never had one)
