1) Re-read the Forum rules.

2) Check the helpfile on your prospective deity.

3) Ask a marked/titled/empowered fllower of the same deity for some help, especially if the religion is well-suited for it. (A goddess of Love/Mercy qualifies for this.... don't try the same beggary with Cyradia, as an example.)

4) Pray to your deity from another appropriate location for your religion. (Note: this is not your guild.) Try to coax a hint out with some solid roleplaying. Many deities will empower outside of the shrine if sufficiently impressed, and you seem new, but earnest.
