> I played a trannie recently, you really do need to master a fair amount of things for controls... and shapeshift was an absolute bitch to master (yes, I used my form quite a bit and go mana to minimum upkeep).

you dont have to master it though. My first trannie herod and had alot of fun without perfecting it. I got my major at rank 50, I then perfected the spells to see what it was all about. My 2nd trannie I deleted due to boredom cos I couldnt be bothered practicing.. shapeshift at 86 after about 12 hours or rl practicing.

In addition, they're pretty boring as far as strategy goes once you're up there, though very dangerous.

hell boring until you get a major, or have a water form so you can rank yourself maybe.

I've also found that eq for a tranny is more important than for an invoker/conjurer/necromancer... since you're supposed to go toe to toe with certain classes in your forms, you need the health to be able to stick it out. Just some thoughts... though

yeah agreed again.. though its pretty easy to get semi decent hp gear quickly (depending on form). because hps seem the only thing that are transferred into forms... one visit to the manor to start and go from here.

I found trannies a little too boring.. if the shift skill could be practiced too easier it would be alot more interesting to play.
