1. I didn't flame him. I said: Don't sweat the small stuff. 14000 exp tnl is absofuckinglutely *nothing*. The truth: I never liked seeing my own name on the post. But then I was handed a VIP handle, and I guess I looked at it as a responsibility to lend a certain perspective to complaints that seem (to me) to be baseless. I happen to have a job where I can browse the web with relative ease (although I can't play CF as much as I used to). Frankly, if you don't like what I have to say, don't read my posts. Because I feel as though I just wasted two fucking minutes reading yours, and I'll be sure to ignore future Jackie O's. As for the (relative) content (loosely speaking) of your post: No, I hate ranking. Hate it. With a capital "H". But I do feel it builds in character relationships that last into the hero ranges, and is also a barometer of how comitted you are to the character. I feel as though this was created by design. That you have to basically commit to playing the game for 100 hours before you can get the really cool spells/skills. As for the mob exp holes, I feel that they lend to the game in that they legitimately make dying to a mob suck, and give you a sense of concern and danger when you are ranking. I also feel that as you play the game more you take it for granted that you will have mob exp holes, and yet, also, that you will hero the character despite them, so mob exp holes stop being such a big deal and more something that you expect to happen. PS: my observation is that people who tell others "to get lives" are generally the most concerned that they are lacking one. Think about it, Mr. Jackie O.
2. I didn't toot my own horn.
3. You are the one being a prick, here.
