...is the telnet client I've been using for the past few years. It's called ZOC and can be found at www.emtec.com. Triggers are just that, something that can be triggered. In ZOC they're called "AutoReplies"... A trigger needs two things to work.

1) The text it sees to be executed.
2) What happens when it sees that.

i.e. "You are hungry"
Trigger then would spit out...
g pouch backpack^Mopen pouch^Mg all pouch^Mclose pouch^Mput pouch in backpack^M

for example. The ^M in a macro and stuff I'm sure 99% people know is the same thing as hitting enter. (Just how ^H is backspace, and so on.)

I type pretty quick, like 90wpm... so I don't use triggers. I do, however, set up macros when I see the need for them. Since I type quick if I see someone on the eastern road I hit ALT-O, J, F (in ZOC that brings up the F-Macros screen) and I type in F5, F6, F7, F8 macros.. usually trip, murder and whatever else I need and then the person's name.

It's a simple terminal and I've never had any desire to switch over to Zmud or anything, although I have tried it... for about 20 seconds.

Hope I helped somewhat.
