...about carrying around two sets of equipment. This was especially useful when I died and only had a crappy set. People would see me with the crappy set and in their minds they had been psychologically conditioned to "think" I had two sets... when I didn't. Then, they would prepare, and I'd be long gone... ;-) Double Major: Computer Sci, Psychology, Zep. > Hell, when I was a Baron and people would raid that I couldn't defend against, I would HELP them kill the guard... > Chaos seems simple on the surface, but it is absolutely one of the harder ideas to grasp in the Fields. Once you do, though, you will know it... and it's a cool feeling. Think about it. > Lawful is easy to roleplay... You are bound to a set of rules... Stay within those set rules and you're fine, pretty much. > Being chaotic means you have no set restrictions in life. That's what most people think... but that is not true. It is much more than that. On top of that it's also the fact that there is no PATTERN to anything you do. Pattern = Order. Order != Chaos. It might appear easier to roleplay a chaotic character because of the absolute versatility, but it's not easy at all. > Do you always enter a city using the same method? Do you always use a "potion of return"... what about using a milky white potion instead? why? Oh because potion of returns are more convenient? ...predictable. > A good Chaotic player is the toughest foe to kill because you won't be able to plan for the attack. Many times as a Baron I would walk around with two sets of armor... a crappy set and my real set. I would strut around town using my crappy set.. run to eastern road, put on my good one, then wait for the two or three people that were scouting me to come. When they saw I had crappy stuff, they neglected to prepare (see: underestimating opponent) ... that tactic worked a lot... But then again, how many times could you do that without being predictable? > Ah, Chaos... why did I ever make an Imperial character in the first place... bah! Lawful! BAHHHH!!! > Thinks and knows what he's going to make when he gets back from his CF Vacation,
> ...I agree with Chaos boygirl. Any sort of predictability is against Chaos. Eating the same food all the time, not chaotic. Running away all the time to the same hiding place, not chaotic. Always quitting in the same city, not chaotic.
