I am not criticizing the thought behind saying that the magics can be different, I am criticizing the thought that the magics are completely independant of one another. I also frown on the fact that Narlok ignored the fact that people who might have learned differently when he wasn't captain of the both. The lack of understanding in someone who must be open minded at some point for him to be able to learn magic (So you're saying I just concentrate and say "uizug" and no one will be able to see me? Gimme a break!) is somewhat against the inherent role of a mage, at least in my opinion. But then again, I roleplayed a female drow who had a soft spot for two arial *males*, so who am I to say anything about going against inherent roles.

At any rate, these are just my opinions and since I have never talked to Narlok in game, my two cents don't amount to much at all. Just remember, kiddies, venting on the forum can be fun. Just don't stalk and assassinate characters.
