That's what I understood from your post, and this is what I imagine might be going on.
It's a typical occurance when dealing with the Masters that goes way back Different
answers from different Masters.

Then we aren't disagreeing at all. This is why I think Graham's assertion is the best
one. It's the 'you have to walk before you can run' cliche. You can't learn the higher
magics until you've learned the simpler.
