I think anyone choosing to play a druid should be able to choose any wood elf hometown with the exception of Eren Galen or however the heck you spell it. Possibly rangers too. Think bout it, every non wood elf ranger or druid rps like they were born in whatever hometown and then moved into the wilds, to lead a life of seclusion. Whereas your wood-elf can just pick the jade mountains and rp that he was conceived or left there by his/her parents. I like the wood-elf class overall just because I dont have to pick a city as my hometown. Course, Im kinda stuck on playing druids at the moment so the rp aspect of say your hometown being the Open Plains (like my last druid) over Galadon is just phenomenal. I have thought that maybe playing a gnome or human druid would find me getting my ass handed to me less at higher levels, but wont play a human or gnome simply because Id have to have a city as a hometown. Granted a gnome from Hillcrest wouldn't be that bad of a combo, but still. A gnome that comes from a forest would be better, given the traditional folklore of the race. Also, why no pit in Ysigrath? That's the best place in the world! Oh well, Ill remove the crack pipe from the mouth now. Flame on!
