Eddings:Sparhawk series (Bacillica)
Salavator(sp) (Icewind Dale, Bligerstone, etc)
Those are the ones I can think of. There may be more but
I'm just drawing a blank. As for the rest, they seem just
to have AD&D influences to them. No real author behind
them.
