IMHO, the best char to play when learning PK is assassin, second place would likely go to warrior. Both classes require the least amount of preparation, and their skills work against the widest range of opponents with good effect. At low levels, they are also the least reliant on nice equipment for survival. Take either of these classes up to about 13-16 and master as many of the basic combat skills as possible, then make a run to the low 20's and you will find that either of these classes can mop up nicely. The 11-30 range is where these combat classes are strongest, so keep this in mind if you ever decide you want to level up higher. The power shifts to communers (druid, shaman, paladin) in the low 30's, and spellcasters from the 40's to hero. (In general, exceptions do occur) Of course, class alone has little to do with PK ability. Experience makes up alot more of the difference between classes, and the best way to get that experience is just to keep playing and learning everything you can about every class and know their strengths and weaknesses.
