youre giving opinions here like it was fact..
the thing is theres alot of stuff around the village that isnt known.. some alternatives below..

> Not only is the object inherantly magical (come on, a flesh head that doesnt rot?)

the being (that magi) was magical, his essence may be what imbues the head. Im guessing.. its not stated anywhere so just offering another option.

> But the Original ragers, who were created by magic, fled and were able to duplicate the magic resistance in a much weaker form...why was it weaker? not because it was from the gods and not from magic (wouldnt something from the gods be more powerfull than something merely from mortal magic?) but because they were WARRIORS and they couldnt get the magic just right. They imbued their half-ass magic into their cabal Item, the Bloody head, and tap its magical energy to gain their magical affects...that they use to fight mages.

nah no way. thats so against anything any rager Ive had has ever believed. Power dosent have to be magical.
bloodthirst is a physical act of rage, resistance is a mental state of not feeling pain, spellbane is a mental state of warriors that are atuned to fighting magi to resist the effects more.

or at least thats an option

> Talk about hypocrits.

> Especially, if you read the story, the reason they started hating magic in the first place...because THEY were doing the raping, pillaging, and destroying of villages...and the MAGES wanted to stop THEM from destroying villages. So they got pissed, and have hated mages ever since.

we dont know why the original ragers were raping/destroying... remember that they were created by the magi.. perhaps to do exactly that - but it got out of hand.

> Not only have 99% of all ragers NOT read the story and know their own origins.

utter crap. The last 4 ragers I had all had to know the history of the village (a quick trip to the lyceum can provide that). I always made that a prerequisite for an induction (me being inducted or inducting someone else) to know the history and I know Thror is big on it.

> But isnt it Ironic, that so many ragers claim to hate magic because mages killed their village/family/etc....when it was the original mages that stopped the original ragers from doing the same thing?

again - why were the original ragers created?
Its not ironic, the magi tried to kill the ragers, the ragers turned on them and the village was born. Now those that feel oppressed/done in by magi have a place to go. The number of people coming along saying their parents were killed etc is fair fair fewer than I think you realise. Theres some pretty good stories coming out now from people trying to get into battle.
