Everybody lives somewhere around 400-600 hours, with a rare few living longer or shorter. The majority of that is based upon your choice of race, part of it is based on class, and the rest is complete luck. If you are the unlucky recipient of certain spells, you may lose a few hours as well. Only 1 out of maybe 10,000 characters ever die of old age, choosing to delete, con-die, autodelete, be denied, etc. long before that happens. Just play whatever makes you happy, and don't be too concerned about how long you live.
