whats the skill at?
It gets to the stage where it does roughly the same perhaps a little more damage than a normal hit from experience as my old assassin.

Remember the main feature of critical hit is that, it wouldnt have mattered how many invoker shields or whatever that mephit had on it, the critical hit damage wouldnt have been reduced.

thats the way I understand it from using it.

I do think though it needs to do a little more damage.. not alot just a little more.
