I've played some chars that I got personally involved with. Ansellius was one of these... it was like I felt a lot of the emotions he must be feeling. He said and did things that would have come out of my mouth. Especially things with women. (Champion of Hearts, was his title) But ya know what? It drags your real life in to a place that has no bearing on anything important. With out going in to a long disortation about the dangers of Mudding too much let me just say that it should be done in moderation... and the emotion you put in to your character should be moderate as well. However, I have gotten sad when friends die... or when I deleted Ansellius I got little tears. Hearing Olin say good bye, and knowing I would never hear it again. *gag* *sniffle* Maybe I should just shut up. *sigh*
