Druids are less effective out of the forest, some things still work, but not as well. Playing a druid I normally tend to stay in the forest, because that's where the power of the class is drawn from, both in rp stance, and game mechanic wise. In the inn or any place specifically "in doors" druids are almost useless, and must rely on their strength and weapon tactics to fight, which the way the class is balanced, there's a good chance if you get caught in doors (as a druid) you better have a potion or something to get you the hell out of there, because shortly thereafter your ass is handed to you without. Rangers fare a little better being more of a fighting class, and can probably hold there own almost anywhere, but are most effective in the wilderness. Anyone playing a ranger or druid properly will avoid cities and in door areas as much as possible (again thats for both rp and game mechanics reasons.) But if you really wanna see the other side of the coin, roll up a ranger, or druid. Hope that helped
