1) Roleplaying: It helps me focus on the little things. I don't get confused and carry over a manner of speaking or acting from another character. 2) Grouping: I get a good feel for who is around my level range at any given time, and can form groups more easily. 3) PKing: Every class fights differently, and you certainly develop a better eye for details when you only play one class for months at a time. I've only recently become something better than a punching bag, and I'm still no one to run from. Remembering that key underused skill/spell at just the right moment in the heat of a pitched battle is hard enough, without having 3 or 4 other sets of skills/spells floating around my brain. 4) Putting my head up Nepenthe's ass to get at the stash of crack that he keeps there for some reason: You got me. That's really why I play one character at a time. The other three are clever ruses. Also, please direct me to the post where I proclaim myself "great" at roleplaying. I can't seem to find it.
