if you are a rager do NOT spec in polearm
why lets see its main benifit besides distance is charge set, I made the mistake of choosing it. Nobody attacks a rager except masters and then they us spells which don't get set. or in duels with other ragers. mace is good but take axe or sword as your second.
ohh for those out there who hate paladin heros that are invincible it seems, their is a very very easy way to defeat them. any neutral axe spec. weaponbreaker/shield cleave will leave any paladin defenseless. if they cannot wrath you then they are only able to flamestrike, if you pincer they will not flmae strike you often enough to kill you, i hope at least. or you could axe/mace and boneshatter whirl weaponbreaker and deflect shield, deflect shield is rather nice at 69% i can usualy smash a shield after 2 tries. between boneshatter and whirl they loose 14 dex and str, enough to unarm virtualy anyone and even arials will be chocking after that. rager spear/staff and hand specs are nice to if you are a felar just in general, wow i am ranting so i will stop now and let you all toss in your input, but the key is
ragers should never choose polearm specs cause it is a wste, spear would be better for a defensive spec by far cause it still is useful as far as impale.
