1) Scrolls & staves. Not only mages can use magic! There's a horde of interesting stuff out there for the adventerous

2) Centurions. Alot of really nasty tactics with centurions. They're not just for giving you an early warning in case of a raid.

3) Enlarge. On a giant it's just plain evil!

4) Energy drain. Your best choice in so many cases.

5) Magic Missile. Hurts at heroish ranks! :P
