Surprise that such logs exist or might be read just goes to show how focused we can get on our own areas of expertise. I do not read through anything logged with IDEA myself. I don't know if anyone ever does look through it. I look through BUG once a month or so because TYPOs or mis-labeled exits are often reported there.

And I look through TYPO (as of a few months ago - and no one that I know checked it regularly before then) every week or two for new additions, and I fix most of them. Some people report TYPOs that are actually BUGs or IDEAs. It's all just so strange...

If you report an especially prevalent spelling error or if I'm confused by your TYPO report, I might send a special note just for you. And then you can be special, too, Joshu.

PS PLEASE read through the helpfile on typos before logging one. The information I need is the misspelled word itself (not just "there's a misspelling here") or the little bit which is grammatically incorrect. Log the typo from the room in which you can see it. If you find a typo in a helpfile, mention that you found it in a helpfile. The helpfile on typo has some helpful examples of appropriate things to report with typo and how to report them.

Whew, that was too long.
