If you have trains saved up after you hero, you are probably better off either saving them to practice yet-unreleased new skills, or converting them to hitpoints to help you survive now. The debatable answer is to have the capability to max out your con, with items if necessary, in case you either A) need to regenerate your hp faster, or B) To prevent the embarrasment that comes along with being rotted to death. If you have shaman enemies at the hero ranks and only have around 11 con, then rot can be scarier to you than being slept by any lich. On the otherhand, if you play the kind of char that dies alot, and con-death is a real possibility, then that's a different matter.
