It's not good, but it's not bad.
Of course the only time I tried it I was drinking crappy beer and to be honest I don't think there is much that could make the swill (Coors*) taste any worse than it does straight from the tap.

*it was free, and there was enough of it to get good and happy on...the salt started as an accident, and then became something of a rite of passage for everyone there. You knew you were gone when you found yourself salting your beer by choice...and swearing that it was good.
