If "CF" was hanging, you wouldn't be PKed, because everyone else would be hanging too.

The problem occurs when your end of the connection hangs, and everyone else is playing at normal speed. Do some detective work (ping, tracert, call your ISP, etc.), and stop yer whinin'.
