I typically get a lot of shit for this, but... Crashes/locks/extra_lag/reboots/etc. either occur because: 1) The durn thing is broked because compooters are ornery varmints. Nothing we can do. 2) The durn thing is broked because the IMMs are testing something new and radical. This a side effect of playing a MUD where they do a lot of original, creative, untested things, like those wacky conjurers. Either way: Sit back, relax. Read a book or something. It always comes back. They aren't locking it because they hate you.(*) If it won't be up in a matter of a couple hours, they typically come here, prompted or not, and clue us in. (*): Nepenthe might hate you. I'm not sure. But that's why Light of Heaven works so well.
