In Reply to: What're you smoking? Praying is how you get a lich quest. The cleric doesn't approach you first. n/t posted by Umm.. on September 18, 2000 at 13:41:24:

Am I missing something? Is that what it says in
help lich? The player wants an interview with the
cleric.. when someone prays for his lich quest
he's essentially asking for an immortal to switch
into the cleric so he can chat. If you don't see
something a little wrong with that then that's your
problem.

What are you going to do

pray immortal I seek to join the undead what must I
do next.

If I were an immortal, I wouldn't answer you at all.
Be patient, wait for the cleric, and show some semblance
of a strong character who rps well.

I'd be curious to hear from other spectres and hear
how they managed to get their quests. I suggest the
best way to go about it is deal directly with the
immortal leader of your cabal or patron deity. I'd
imagine praying for any old imm to switch into the
cleric isn't going to get you very far.

Here's a number of suggestions to get noticed. Honestly,
I couldn't care if you listen to any of them.
