First, let me refer you to a brilliant post on Leika and the honorable way force duel is used, Who? Who is saying this? Cothurak? Do you respect Cothurak's skills as a player? Imbrogno? Imbrogno claims he hasn't played in two-three months - he hasn't even *interacted* with Leika. Think about the source of your information. Do you respect my skills as a player for that matter? You're going to be hearing *ALOT* of information on the forum, posted by people who are completely convinced they know what they are talking about - and I will tell you, honestly: Not a SINGLE one of these people (except perhaps Nepenthe, although I challenge you to muddle through his answers) knows everything (they just pretend they do). > My question is....If all of these people have the wrong concept on what honor is....why arent the Priests/tatted followers of the God of Honor trying to educate them? Because it's hard to interact with people after you've killed them a couple of times. Look at: carrion.gameshadow.com/cforum/messages/36239.html and see the type of mentality (in this case someone who goes OOC) that Leika is forced to deal with. This is the type of thing people do when they die. Leika is a blade of honour, she's not a prim school teacher that is expected to show a great deal of patience dealing with angry, bitter students. She just smites them until they open their minds to *listen*, not to *talk*. > I don't see that. I see only people waiting until someone is at half health, logging in after a crash, wish zero protections up, and force-dueling them. Then refusing to speak with them. Come on. First, that's not true. Second, if you get caught like that, there's only *one* person to blame.. *drumroll* Yourself. > Ok. So people wont get to know the "right way" to look at honor in game. I can accept that. There is no "right" way. You can look at Honour any way you want to, just don't expect to be tattoo'd by Balgrimnr unless your way meshes with his. Drindremre, for example, from all my interactions with him, carried himself with a great deal of honour. > Can someone please explain it here then? If you begin, then, yes. Explain your views on Honour, and then roll up a character that matches those views, and see if it is playable. That would make you a reliable source (unlike what you might hear otherwise). Of course, after you go through the experience of doing it yourself, you'll also probably be wary of posting what you did, here. > If for no other reason than to shut up the people who claim the power is not honorable. Nothing is going to shut up people that continue to look for outside excuses for why they died. That's an attitude that poisons all subsequent beliefs, not a belief in itself. > That, And I really do not have a clue, and would like to know, and have been shot down in char when I have tried to find out. And I feel for you. Why don't you start a thread that details your feelings on Honour, *and* roll up a character that idealizes all of those feelings? That is my serious suggestion to you. I feel you will have very much of a clue after that experience. Anything else is just an easy answer.

> I hear alot of people saying that the Ehren guard power is not honorable.
"Or that the way it is used by leika is not honorable (knowingly choosing to only attack people who have zero, or close to zero, readiness)."
Refer to the above-mentioned brilliant post by a guy who knows everything, and tell me if you do not find that method honourable.
