I guess that's not a bad suggestion, but if you'll recall,
that's exactly what the imms have struggled against for
these past few centuries, classes/races having the same
skills and abilities. These huge assassin/transmuter/ranger/etc
revamps have all taken place just to do that- give varied
skills/abilities to various classes, instead of every class
having detect invis. I know what you're saying, but if the
Imms are going to put in a new race, it'll be a totally new
type of thing, with varied abilites and stuff, not a clone of
another race that goes by a different name.

Anyhow, hobbits should have a 23 dex at least- I'd *never*
in a million years play a hobbit with the stats of a gnome.
That's just asking to get thunderfucked ;)
