Although, I would like to see spell evasion work against mobs like it did when it was first introduced. Critical strike would be nice as a an automatic skill but I used it often enough that I know it would be much too powerful as an automatic skill. I was able to hang with a porcupine as a felar assassin (Axzwerlich). It would have been a photo finish as to who would have died if the porc hadn't fled but considering I was wielding a sword and had one empty claw at the time, I think I did pretty well. With critical strike, I consistently sent mongeese (sounds better than mongooses...) packing, and the one armadillo I fought didn't stand a chance.

As for spell evasion, I was able to perfect it with some small amount of ease. But then I was an assassin and people were constantly trying to fog me when I was in the Tower. The skill seems to work often enough even when not perfected. If you disagree, I know a few Masters who could provide testimony as to how irritating it was to fight me when Scourge wouldn't touch me... I'm pretty sure Invokers hated me the most between spell evasion and tiger claw.

At any rate, the point of this post is to say that if played correctly, scouts are fine the way they are. Only assassins, thieves, and rangers should be scouts anyway, if you ask me. Make critical strike an automatic skill and watch the warriors flock to the scout profession...
