I thought about that, and I think (from my humble mortal standpoint) it'd be too powerful. Staves and polearms are awesome for parrying (relative to sword/mace) and a 2h spec wielding a staff is going to kick the shit out of an anti-paladin (for example). There are also lots of classes that don't wield polearms that he'd kick the shit out of. And, it'd also give 2h specs an edge over shield specs, and... and so on, you can think of lots and lots of advantages this would give, when the paladin class (in my mind) doesn't need any more advantages. But, on the other hand, what the hell, I'm playing a 2h paladin right now, so why not give staff/polearm maneuvers to them? Anyway, what is the rationale behind your idea? Just to make paladins more powerful?
