1) You are below rank 11 and you are carying limited gear.

2) You are cheating and an imm cought you and wasn't feeling too deathful so you got off with gear crumbling.

3) you are rank 11-20 or so and have the sweetest set of stuff you've ever seen off some corpse loot and the imms don't think you diserve it, or something along those lines.
