The undead creation of a necro arent intelligent, they are mindless. If they are separate from thier master, they can't do anything. Just to compare the conjurer, the archon are intelligent, if they would get summoned (I don tknow if they can be), they will likely return to thier master, because they know why he should return and where he is. hum...
