Tigers are also only about 3.5-4 feet tall at the shoulder and almost always approach through tall grass which their striping allows them to hide in. They've been known to crawl almost on their stomachs making them maybe 2 feet tall and are able to do so quietly due to all four of their legs being underneath them.

Slap your 400 pound ass down on your stomach, with clanking metal armor and long weapons that are glinting in the sun and getting stuck in the ground as you crawl around and see if you can do what a tiger does quietly.

Go on, try it.
