You are autmatically assuming the necromancer is trying to get the best zombies he can. Atleast he has the option of getting weaker zombies, which would not take that long.

Second difference is that necromancers have other things they can use (like sleep, plague etc). While conjurers don't.

I am sure it is a pain in any case and the point for my post was not to gain pity for conjurers :)
