Svirf is by far the best IMHO(natural detect invis, decent str and con, and the always handy extra practices into trains for hp; gotta watch out for bashing), next is probably human(very versatile and no vul.), Arial is third(Nice dex for dodging and can fly; must watch out for lightning however) I have never played the rest...so most of it is just speculation.. I would rate duergar next(4)(good all around stats; Must watch out for wrath attacks). Then half-elves(tie for 5)(decent stats; bad vul.) and gnomes(tie for 5)(wisdom being the only major asset; have bashing vul and bad stats). Drow(Good stats; however high exp penalty and mithril vul) come next(6th) because although their stats and vul. is similiar to elves, in my experience more mid-rank daggers are iron. Elves(7th) (Good stats; High exp penalty and iron vul)come next and last. Always wondered how well a felar thief would do..havent known too many of them so I didnt rate them. Hope I helped some.
