The XP rules for groups seem rather arbitrary to me. (Why is ranking in a party of three better experience than ranking in a party of two -or- four?) My guess is that the IMM like having a little "mandatory interaction" between characters, so it is less practical for players to just run off on their own, never speak with anyone, and re-appear at hero. I've certainly met a lot of people I otherwise would not have this way, even though I'm a big fan of solo ranking when it is practical.

Also, without incentives towards group ranking, a lot of support classes (healers, trannies, etc.) might have trouble finding groups until they start to hit their more powerful level ranges. Otherwise, who wants a level 11-14 trannie around? =)

> GROUPS! Argh. I can definitely see the benefit of roleplaying with teams/groups and whatnot. But I would REALLY like to be able to rank without a group. Yes, the fighting classes can do it, but try it as a mage....it is nasty. I don't actually have a suggestion for the Imms to improve this, but I would like to see solo ranking be more feasible. Other than that, this game kicks ass, as my good friend and trusted compatriot, and best man at my wedding, and the man who saved my life twice in 'nam, Eric Cartman would say.
